Bespoke shop front design

We are able to style your ecommerce web site to any design you may already have thought of or we can create a custom design just for your shop front. If you would like certain features modifying such as a mini cart with only the total products in the shopping cart displayed this can be easily achieved.

Using redk's site builder you have numerous ways to customise your new ecommerce site, you can add rounded corners, coloured and patterned backgrounds and a colour scheme that is exactly what you have in mind. You have full control over the colour scheme of your site so it will always be exactly how you want it.

Integrated shopping cart

An integrated shopping cart is part of your site and not located elsewhere on another remote server. The shopping cart is styled to match your web site's design and will include all the features needed such as product name, description, price, shipping and total cost. When a customer adds a product to their cart it instantly appears in the shopping cart on your web site, they are not taken off to another site. This makes the whole buying process quick, easy and more professional.

Unlimited products

Unlike many other online ecommerce website designers we do not impose any limits on the number of products your store can sell. We do advise a user friendly limit, by this we mean that customers may find it very difficult to shop if you have thousands and thousands of products which are not very well organised - this is why we also include an unlimited number of categories so you can organise your products just as you like (see below for more information).

Unlimited categories

You can have as many categories as you like in your ecommerce store as again, unlike many other ecommerce designers, we do not impose any artificial limits. The user friendly limit simply means that you may want to consider whether you really want a category list that stretches off the bottom of the screen or whether you should take advantage of our almost unique feature of unlimited sub categories (see below for more information).

Unlimited sub categories

This feature is almost unique to redk. If you are selling clothes, for example, you may want shirts as a category, you can then have different styles of these items as sub categories for example T-shirts, long sleeved shirts, V-necks. You can even go one step further in the T-shirts category and have a further level with red T-shirts, blue T-shirts, green T-shirts. The user friendly limit again just means you need to consider carefully how many sub categories you use as too many may become a little confusing for your customers unless they are very carefully thought out.

Product and category management interface

We have designed our product and category administration section so it is as user friendly and intuitive as possible. There are very easy to follow steps for adding products and categories and full instructions are given as you go along. You will need no more than a few minutes to get to grips with the admin section of your new web site.

Paypal and Google Checkout integration

We are able to offer full integration with Paypal, Google Checkout and Nochex. These three services are extremely popular as they allow your customers to purchase items from your ecommerce store using a credit or debit card.

Intelligent product search facility

redk's intelligent search facility carefully checks all entries of products and their descriptions to produce a list of the most relevant results.

Unlimited images per product

When buying online it is important that your customers can see your products from every angle. With redk's ecommerce solution you are able to add as many alternative views of your product as you require. The additional images are displayed as thumbnails so that the customer can click on them to show a larger view. You can add an unlimited amount of extra images with a redk online shop.

Featured products page

If you have products that you wish to promote for a while you can make them featured products, they will then appear on a special page dedicated to highlighting your best or most popular products. You will be able to modify these products as often as you like so the featured products page can look different every time a customer visits.

Manual inventory control

When you sell items on your site you want to be able to update your stock quantity on your online shop. With this facility you can easily edit the amount of any item. The stock quantity can be displayed on your ecommerce site or we can use this information to adjust the availability of out of stock items.

Visitor Statistics

When you have an ecommerce web site you want to keep an eye on how many people are visiting your web site. Our visitor statistics facility allows you to keep track of how many people are visiting your web site, when they are visiting and which country they are from. Our advanced statistics include such information as what visitors are placing in their shopping carts and what pages they have visited to get there. This kind of information helps you to decide what products are popular on your site.

Multiple options and variations per product (with with price affecting)

You can specify as many extra options for a product as you need such as size, colour or design. The option lists are created in your admin section and then you simply attach the relevant option to the product you wish it to be displayed with. The options will appear next to the product on your store and when the product is added to the cart these options will be included. If you have a product where its options and variations need to be a different price to the standard product's price this can also be achieved.

Website sale facility

This advanced feature allows you to have percentage discount sales on your site. You can reduce the price of all the items on your store by a certain percentage for a limited time, this could maybe coincide with a bank or summer holiday, this option can attract many new customers as people love bargains and discounts.

Content Management System

Also known as CMS redk's CMS give you the power to add custom pages with text and images all laid out using a simple interface similar to that of Microsoft Word. You do not require any programming or web design skills to add new content to your web site. This is an important facility because it enables you to keep your content fresh for search engines. It also means that you have nearly no maintenance costs for your web site.
