Design
Q. Do you provide photography and graphics?
A. As part of your design we create the graphical elements that make up your design. This might
include such things as background graphics, borders, boxes, logos (if ordered). We can use other
graphics such as stock photography in your site but you have to make us aware of this requirement in
your brief.
Hosting
Q. Do I get FTP access and database access.?
A. We understand that the majority of our customers do not have an expert understanding of server
technology and for that reason all of our hosting solutions are completely managed for you so you
don’t require FTP or database access.
Q. How do I set up email addresses?
A. It’s as easy as sending us an email or making a phone call. We do all of the leg work for you.
CMS
Q. With CMS can I change every part of my site?
A. When we design a CMS driven site we give you specific areas on each layout that allow you to
change plain text or images. The reason for this is to help keep a consistent design throughout the
web site and also this does no require you to have advanced web design skills to change your own
content.
Q. What do I get?
A. For £395 you get a bespoke design that is applied to the overall look of the site and one layout
(additional layouts available at £30 per layout) and our CMS platform to add and edit your content.
The site is delivered empty ready for you to start adding content.
Q. Who adds the content?
A. Your web site will be delivered empty of content and pages. If you would like us to add your
content this can be done at an hourly rate.
Buying a web site
Q. What is the process?
A. The process of buying a web site from redk is outlined below:
1. You give us a brief of your requirements.
2. You pay a deposit to cover our time commitment.
3. We will produce a mock up design that is an overall representation of your new site.
4. After you have approved the mock up we build the fully working and completed site.
5. You can then test it on our demonstration server.
6. Once the finished site has been approved you pay the balance and hosting fees and we upload
your new web site to it’s hosting.
Q. Can I change the design after the mock up has been approved?
A. You can only request changes to the web site design during the mock up stage free of charge.
Once you have approved the mock up design changes to the site’s appearance will incur extra costs
in time that will be passed onto you.

support issue.
